the second general assembly of future forum and seminar on imt-advanced development
assembly | 2007/4/7future forum held the second general assembly in beijing xiyuan hotel on april 5th of 2007, on which the work of 2006 was summarized and the plan for 2007 was released. the principal for future project reported on the relative advancement of the r&d of the project.
in addition, future forum held seminar on imt-advanced development, required by the relative departments in charge of mii as a support to the imt-advanced promotion working group of mii, with the purpose of promoting domestic and international r&d and standardization of b3g/4g technology and the focus on the evolution and development of b3g/4g technology, collected and sorted the suggestions and advice on china’s development of b3g/4g technology from the forum members which would be submitted to the relative departments as references for the government’s decision-making. on the seminar, experts from quite a number of members such motorola, nokia & siemens, france telecom, qualcomm, samsung and etri made special lectures and had an overall discussion on b3g/4g evolution.
